What a rich program this cruise offers! A unique itinerary including four top Greek islands (Santorini, Rhodes, Crete, Mykonos),
alongside two less known gems of the Aegean Sea: Chios, with its mastic gum trees and houses decorated with sgraffiti and beautiful courtyards decorated with intricate pebble mosaics, and Symi, a jewel of an island, once a haven for the ship-building and sponge industries.

The cruise begins with Istanbul, a city of unique characteristics that marked the Aegean civilization through the centuries, and Kusadasi, gateway to Ancient Ephesus, where one of the seven wonders of antiquity stood for 120 years, the Temple of Artemis.

Pre- & post-cruise package

Year 2022

With rates starting from EUR190 per person, you get

  • two overnights, in double room, in a centrally located hotel in Athens including breakfast
  • both ways private transfers between Athens and the cruise port.

Why is a pre-/post-cruise package a good idea?

  • Athens, the city closest to the cruise port, is more than just the place your cruise begins and ends; it's an exciting and world renowned destination worth exploring!
  • If you have to take an overnight flight or a long haul flight, you may find the extra day useful to recover from the jet lag; otherwise, the first day or two of your cruise may be an absolute waste.
  • It serves as a "safety-cushion" in case of flight delays or other unforeseen circumstances.
  • It includes pre-arranged transfers from your hotel to the pier and back.
No hassle, no carrying around heavy luggage in public means of transportation and absolute safety in the CoVid-19 era!

We loved our ship and the cabin. The staff were friendly but Kem was the best! The food was good, and the stops and excursions enjoyable, but we could have done with more Mykonos and less Chios. My agent Uli was patient, responsive, and informative. Overall a most positive experience and we are thinking of the Cuba cruise for the future.A

A wonderful cruise which was much enjoyed. Good value for money and we got to see heaps of places as well.
We did expect more Greek cuisine than the ship had and the set menu in one of the restaurants got to be very boring after a week.
Again it needs to be said that the manner in which restorations are occurring is disappointing. It was sad seeing the ruins in Knossos (Crete) with the use of concrete blocks to restore ruins and concrete beams painted to try and make them look like timber. This is the wider story of how the wonderful history of Greece and its ruins are being restored and the Greek government needs to step in so that work is done properly.
Overall we'd do this cruise again in the future. Most enjoyable.
