The Villa Paparouna in Alonnisos

Paparouna is set on a hillside terrace just below Alonissos Old Town. Both the upstairs balcony and the garden terraces have privacy and dramatic views down the valley to Patitiri harbour and across the open sea to the islands of Ta Theo Adelfia.

Furnished with a tasteful combination of antique and contemporary furniture, the house has been extensively modernised. The spacious rooms open onto flagstone verandahs and terraces shaded by roses and bougainvillea.

The shops and tavernas of the Old Town and Patitiri are within a ten minute drive. The nearby forested area of Kato Horafi is wonderful for walking and watching the graceful Eleonora falcons circling overhead. Car hire is suggested so that clients may have easy access to beaches and explore the island.
