Description of the accommodation
The Galaxy hotel is located on the beach of Aghios Georgios, at the southern end of Naxos town. One of the most beautiful hotels on Naxos, an excellent example of authentic Cycladic architecture, the hotel is situated less than 100m from the beach of Aghios Georgios, approximately 10min. walk to the centre.
It is built like a small village, the different buildings surrounded by patios, flower beds, paved cobble stone paths and a little lake, the paths leading from one building to the other some times passing under stone arches. The other side of the hotel-complex faces the large swimming pool and the sea.
It consists of 54 rooms and studios, rather small yet comfortable: they have wooden ceilings, all with double beds (triple rooms have one double and one single bed), private SH/WC, kitchenette & little refrigerator (in the studios), direct-dial phone, music, and balcony or patio. Most of the rooms have either garden or sea view.
Hotel’s facilities include reception area, safe boxes, open plan breakfast lounge area with satellite TV, snack bar, swimming pool, pool bar, children’s playground and lovely lush gardens. Daily cleaning, change of linen every second day, frequent public bus service. No cots are available. Breakfast is offered for a small extra fee. NOTE: There is also A/C in the rooms and it is operating on certain hours during the day from the 15th June onwards, at no extra charge.
