A
new hotel situated very close to the town (approx. 800m away) and approx. 300m
from the beach of Aghios Georgios.
This is the most luxurious complex on the island; being at the same time
traditionally built with basic materials stone and marble. The hotel has 33 twin
or double bedded rooms, key-card locks, all with private facilities
(bathtub/WC), hairdryer, toiletries, A/C, heating, direct dial phone, music,
mini bar, TV, balcony (some with sea view).
Hotel’s
facilities include reception, safe deposit boxes, spacious lounge area,
satellite TV room, sun terrace, indoor/outdoor bar, breakfast area (buffet
breakfast), restaurant, children’s playground, tennis court, jogging itinerary,
big swimming pool (fresh water), sauna, gym room and a conference hall for 100
persons.
Services: baby-sitting (upon request), hairdresser, laundry service, room
service. There are two honeymoon suites and flowers, fruit and wine are offered
to honeymooners upon their arrival. There are also two fully accessible rooms
reserved for guests with kinetic disabilities. The hotel provides daily cleaning
and change of linen. Pets (well trained) are welcome. It is an elegantly
luxurious complex, which, however, is still in compliance with the friendly,
traditional ambience and architecture of the island of Naxos.
Villa
Marandi welcomed its first guests in the summer of 1998.
It is ideally situated by the sea, and only a stone's throw from Hora (the Town)
and the best beaches of Naxos. The studios, apartments and suites are named
after mythological characters and elements of the sea and the wind. All studios,
suites and apartments are fully furnished with a very personal touch. They are
spacious and have large private verandas decorated with pergolas, traditional
stonewalls and unique views of the Aegean Sea, the Port and Hora. The hotel
offers a swimming pool with pool bar, Children's Pool, Hydro-massage in the main
pool, A la carte Restaurant, Snack Bar - Pool Bar as well as a reception area
and private parking.
All
units have private facilities with hair dryer,
air-condition and heating, colour satellite TV, direct dial phone and last but
not least a fully equipped kitchenette. The superior Studios (about 40 sq.
meters) can accommodate up to 4 adults or a family of 2 adults with 2 children
and offer in one spacious room 2 single beds plus a sofa bed for the additional
1-2 persons. The Family Suite (about 54 sq. meters) can accommodate 4-6 persons
and offers all the above plus an additional separate bedroom. The Junior Suites
can accommodate 2-3 adult persons or a family comprised of 2 adults plus up to 2
young children, in one spacious room, offering a hand-made iron antique double
bed and two sofa beds. The decoration is very romantic, tasteful and of high
quality. The superior suites (about 40 sq.m.), offer accommodation for 2-4
persons, with a completely separated bedroom, with an iron hand made double bed
and a multipurpose room that can accommodate two additional persons on sofa
beds. The suites are all on the top floor and have large private verandas.
A
very beautiful, new complex of 45 apartments situated in an elevated position in
the area of Stelida approx. 3km from the centre of Naxos town,
successfully combining the simple Cycladic village-like architecture with
touches of luxury. The nearest beach is Choelakas about 150 meters down the hill
and the best beach of the island, Aghios Prokopios, is approx. 1.5km away. The
complex affords panoramic view over the town of Naxos and the port. Hotel’s
facilities include a medium size swimming pool with a beautiful mosaic
representation at the bottom of the pool, pool bar, BBQ for the use of the
guests, reception area, safe boxes, room service, restaurant, mini market,
tennis court, and play ground for children. It consists of different 2-storey
buildings connected by paved alleys, stairs, stone arches, and flowerbeds; it
really gives you the impression of a small village.
The
rooms have wooden ceilings and traditional wooden doors (in fact the keys are
the big, iron, old-fashioned ones). There are 26 open plan studios for up to
three persons and 19 apartments, which consist of one double or twin bedded
room, separate small living room area with kitchenette unit (stylish utensils
supplied) and a sofa, SH/WC, hair dryer, A/C, TV, direct dial phone, and most of
them have balcony with sea view. Most can take 3 persons and some 4, as long as
the two are children. Two studios and one apartment are especially kept for
honeymooners and have double beds. Baby cots are available (payable on the
spot). Children under 2 years old are free, between 2 and 12 pay as third adult
discount. Safe deposit boxes are available for a fee payable locally. Extended
continental breakfast is offered. One of the best, if not the best complex on
the island. 
A
beautiful complex in quiet, rural surroundings offering a relaxed holiday, away
from the bustling town.
It has a two swimming pools plus a children’s pool, Jacuzzi, pool bar, pretty
café/bar/breakfast area, where also light meals are served, surrounded by trees
and flowers. There are also a reception area with a souvenir shop, small gym,
and a playground and playroom. It consists of nicely furnished studios for 2-3
persons, and apartments for up to 4 persons. All have 2 or three beds - one is
usually matrimonial, open plan or separate kitchenette, en suite shower/W.C.
with hairdryer, patio or balcony or terrace, TV, A/C, and direct dial phone.
Some rooms have sea view, some have view to the garden and the pool. It is about
400m from the sandy beach of Kastraki, where there are also some taverns. The
nearest bus stop is 800m (bus service 3-5 times a day) and the town is 20kms
away.
