Kokkini Porta Rossa is the first building you see when you enter the Old Town from the Gate of St. John (locals call this gate the “Red Gate”, in memory of those who lost their lives defending it). It was the residence of the knight in charge of the Gate’s garrison.

The furniture, lighting, objects and carpets give every space a warm, familiar atmosphere, luxury has been balanced with simplicity and modern design matched with old collectable items.

The property has six suites, each of them different from the rest, all have their own aura and interesting details and are named after people who lived and worked in the house. All suites feature complimentary mini bar with drinks, snacks, coffees, tea kettle & fridge, espresso maker with Illy Italian coffee capsules, TV and telephone as well as A/C.
