 The
two Zakaroula Villas hide away on the hillside of Profitis Ilias, in
undisturbed seclusion yet only a ten minute drive inland from Skiathos Town.
The views from the villas take in the hills and valleys of olive groves, the
whitewashed houses of Skiathos Town and its port and the offshore islands of
Argos, Maragos, Tsougri and Tsougriaki. For Skiathos, the views are
unrivalled. Recently completed, each villa is set thirty metres apart on
separate hillside terraces, surrounded by olive trees. The interiors are
modern and comfortably furnished and open out on to large terraces with
grassed lawns, a separate barbecue and dining area and dramatic views.
Car
hire is suggested: Skiathos Town, with a varied selection of tavernas, shops and
bars, is a ten minute drive. There are two tavernas within walking distance from
the villas: Platanos Taverna is half a kilometre and Panorama Pizzeria is fifty
metres away. The nearest beach is Megali Ammos, four kilometres away, with a
watersports centre. Further north there are pebble beaches below the abandoned
16th Century village of Kastro.
Accommodation/Facilities of the villas:
 The
upper villa has a ground floor of a sitting room leading to a sea-facing
terrace; kitchen; shower room. Stairs to first floor of two double bedrooms each
with en suite bathroom with shower and both leading to a sea-facing balcony.
The lower villa has a ground floor of a sitting room leading to a sea-facing
terrace; one double bedroom, en suite bathroom with shower, leading to pool
terrace; kitchen. Stairs to first floor of one double bedroom and en suite
bathroom with shower.
Air-conditioning in all bedrooms; TV/DVD & CD player.
Each villa has a private swimming pool (8 x 7 metres & depth 0,90 – 1,8 metres)

Villa
Ithea is one of the very few villas on Skiathos to be close to the sea and to
have a swimming pool.
The
villa is on a hillside of olive and pine trees and overlooks Tsaneria Bay. Seven
other villas stand further up the hill but Ithea’s seafacing terraces and
pool have privacy. The natural terraces which border the villa are planted
with grapevine, roses, palms and colourful flowers which blend into the
surrounding pines.
Pounta
is the name of the promontory of olive groves,
which forms one side of Skiathos Town’s bay and faces Skiathos Town. The Cape
Pounta Villas have a hilltop position on this promontory and command
beautiful views over the surrounding olive and pine trees to the sea.
There is a dramatic theatrical effect when the sun sets behind the town’s
hillside houses.
Special attention has been given to the outside areas with an "infinity-pool"
with hydro-massage jets, fronted by grassed lawns and an elaborate barbecue
and dining area with outdoor kitchen facilities. The villas are forty metres
apart and do not overlook each other. Skiathos’ small airport, only open during
daylight hours, is a distance of three kilometres from the villas and there is a
good view of planes landing and taking off.

Villa
Eos stands above the sea on a hillside of olive and pine trees on the Kanapitsa
peninsula.
There
are spectacular views
across the sea to Evia and the Greek mainland and the villa’s location is
private and undisturbed. There are many sandy beaches along the peninsula’s
coastline, close to Villa Eos.

ten minutes drive from Skiathos Town, set back from an inland route towards the
monastery of Evangelistra and the east coast, Villa Iliana has a private
hillside location with magnificent views over forested valleys to the
oliveclad Pounta promontory, sheltering Skiathos port, the sandy beach of
Xamenos and across the sea to Skopelos. At night the twinkling lights of Glossa

The
sandy beach of Achladies lies 100 metres away from the east coast road of
Skiathos between the Kanapitsa Peninsula and Skiathos Town. The Achladies Beach
Villa is set back just fifteen metres from the beach and is a perfect
spot for those wanting to stay close to the sea.
A pathway leads from the villa through a small garden of olive trees and tall
pampas grass to the beach.
hire
a boat with outboard engine at the watersports centre to explore the coastline
and visit other beachfront tavernas. Two supermarkets are just a two minute walk
away and a water taxi service from the beach to Skiathos Town leaves hourly
until 11pm each day.
