 The
Geni peninsular shelters Vlicho Bay on its eastern side. Below a hillside of
olive groves, Villa Mahera is situated directly on the water’s edge, half
way along this peninsula, and looks out across the bay to the hillsides and
mountains behind Nidri .
Recently completed, Villa Mahera has modern and comfortable interiors
opening out on to a covered sea-facing terrace on the first floor and a private
pool terrace and barbecue area, bordered by grassed lawns, with a few steps down
to the sea. The pool has hydro massage jets.
The villa has a private
mooring for a hired boat. The village of Nidri, with its many shops and tavernas
and a watersports centre, can be reached (in daylight) by boat in five minutes.
A ten minute walk from the villa there are four waterfront tavernas and a
minimarket. The attractive Dessimi beach is a drive of five minutes.
 We
recommend car rental for those who want to explore the island but boat hire will
provide car-free access to nearby beaches.
Villa Mahera has a special,
peaceful setting, bordered by olive trees, directly above the sea.

The
dimensions of the swimming pool are 9 x 5,5 metres and its depth is 0,60 - 1,6

A
narrow country road from Nidri, on the east coast, climbs a hillside of olive
and citrus groves for three kilometres to reach the small village of
Paliokatouna. From here the road passes through the even smaller village of
Neochori and continues up the side of Mount Stavrotas. A traditional and
unhurried way of life survives in these villages and donkeys are the favoured
means of transport.
Villa
Helidona comprises two separate floors of identical accommodation with modern
facilities and comfortable furnishings.
Nidri, a drive of ten minutes, has a varied selection of shops, tavernas and
bars and a watersports centre and boat hire.

Ten
minutes from both Lefkas Town and the spectacular beaches of the west coast, the
farming village of Tsoukalades lies amongst a beautiful, unspoilt landscape of
cypress and olives. There are several tavernas, a cafeneion and a supermarket.
Otherwise
it is sleepy and peaceful, with donkeys still a common form of transport.

Villa
Jasmine has a dramatic hillside position above the sea on Lefkas’ north
west coast. On clear days the island of Paxos and the Greek mainland are
visible. Uninterrupted views and theatrical sunsets from a variety of
terraces.
The villa has just one neighbouring house behind and another further down the
hillside. This part of Lefkas is unspoilt and contains a beautiful
undulating landscape of olive and cypress trees.
Ground
floor: one double bedroom and en suite bathroom with bath and shower; one
twin-bedded room and en suite bathroom with shower. Both bedrooms lead to
sea-facing terrace.
Villa
Mimosa is set in large grounds overlooking the sea on the outskirts of Lefkas
Town. The immediate area of Kaligoni contains a small collection of
privately owned houses with large gardens and is peacefully secluded.
One
of the first floor balconies looks out across the stretch of sea between Lefkas
and the Greek mainland and allows views of yachts approaching Lefkas Town’s
swing bridge.
Good
beaches can be found within a ten minute drive and Nidri, a twenty minute drive,
offers watersports.
The
sleepy hilltop village of Katouna hides away amongst peaceful olive groves three
kilometres inland from the pretty harbour of Ligia, which is a few kilometres
south of Lefkas Town. To one side of the village square a 100 metres path leads
to the private seclusion of Honeymoon Villa.
Open
beamed ceilings, wooden and stone floors, hand-made lace curtains and elegant
antique furniture are enhanced by modern touches evident in fabrics,
bathrooms, kitchen facilities and a large swimming pool with stone terraces and
a wooden sun deck. The villa overlooks a valley and hillside rich in olive
and cypress trees.
Ligia,
a drive of five minutes, has the nearest supermarket and good tavernas can be
found here or in Lefkas Town, a ten minute drive. Boat hire and watersports are
available at Nidri, a drive of twenty minutes.
A
twenty minute drive inland from Nidri, up mountain roads and through tiny
charming villages, takes one to the little hamlet of Vafkeri. With just a few
houses, one taverna and beautiful surroundings of olive groves and fields, set
on hillside terraces, Vafkeri is a peaceful and hidden retreat.

Cottage retains its traditional character with stone and wooden floors
and an open, beamed ceiling. An attractive dining terrace overlooks the pool.
The
Geni peninsula shelters Vlicho Bay
on its eastern side. From the coastal road, which skirts this peninsula, a track
of one and a half kilometres climbs the hillside of olive groves to the
secluded location of Villa Sikia. There are only five other houses in this
peaceful and countrified setting and Villa Sikia provides privacy and
spectacular sea views.
The views over the infinity pool are down the valley of silver olive
trees, across Vlicho Bay to the waterfront of Nidri, up to Lefkas’s mountains
and across the sea to the Greek mainland.
Nidri,
with a more varied selection of tavernas and shops, boat hire and a watersports
centre, is also a five minute drive away, as is the attractive beach of Dessimi.
