Villa
Pelagos is a spacious and elegant property set in three acres of
lawned gardens on a secluded headland near the small hillside village of
Gastouri, two kilometres inland from the coastal village of Perama. Views from
the wide terraces, bordered by orange and crimson bougainvillaea and which
surround the villa, are over the garden of hibiscus, oleander, olive and palm
trees and across the sea to the mountains of Albania and mainland Greece.
The
property consists of a main house and a guest cottage, fifty metres away
and reached via a pathway bordered by oleander trees. The interiors are
sumptuous; the design incorporates natural stone floor tiles and wrought
iron banisters with comfortable sitting areas; the large bedrooms open out on to
terraces with magnificent sea views.

Pascalia is a comfortable, peaceful and private retreat on the forested
outskirts of Gastouri village.

rental is suggested: Gastouri village is a ten minute walk away and has two
tavernas, two general stores and a traditional bakery with a wood-fired oven.
The fishing village of Benitses is a ten minute drive. The sandy beach of Agios
Gordis, on the west coast, is a fifteen minute drive as is Corfu Town.

Rosa and her beautiful gardens are hidden away amongst peaceful olive groves
with dramatic views over the surrounding natural landscape to the east
coast, about ten kilometres north of Corfu Town.

Limonia lies one hundred metres away from 
Agios
Georgios is a large beach of golden sand within a sheltered bay on the
north-west coast of Corfu. A small and peaceful resort of village houses, shops
and tavernas set back from the beach and a watersports club at one end of the
beach, Agios Georgios enjoys comparative seclusion. Sidari, fifteen kilometres
away on the north coast, provides more lively entertainment.

narrow road winds its way up a hillside from the coastal road beside Nissaki and
leads to the dramatic location of Villa Amelia. Set amongst olive groves
and a few other houses, the villa commands a special vantage point with
magnificent views over the bay of Nissaki and along the north east coastline
of silver olives and dark green cypress trees, accentuated by the turquoise sea.
Corfu Town is visible in the distance.
Comfortable
interiors open out on to comfortable terraces.
The
small port and village of Nissaki,
on the north east coast of Corfu, caters well for those seeking good tavernas,
well-stocked supermarkets, boat hire, many nearby beaches and an escape from
loud resorts.
Nissaki
village is under a kilometre away. Kalami has a watersports centre and is a
drive of fifteen minutes. Boat hire from Nissaki is recommended to find the more
secluded beaches and beachfront tavernas.
Set
in the tiny hillside hamlet of Kavalarena, on the north east coastline between
Nissaki and Kalami, Villa Agni is situated on a hillside terrace below
Nissaki, Kalami (boat hire and watersports available) and Kouloura are a ten
minute drive and Kassiopi is a fifteen minute drive.
The
Greek word "Vigla" means "lookout point". Villa Vigla commands spectacular
views down valleys of olive groves and across the sea to Albania’s coastline
and along Corfu’s east coast to the Venetian fortifications of Corfu Town.
The villa’s elevated location is totally private.
On
Corfu’s south west coast the long stretch of Halikounas’ sandy beach protects
Lake Korission from the sea. The lake is a haven for over one hundred species of
birdlife including great white egrets, oyster catchers and curlews.
A small wooden bridge crosses the point where the lake flows into the sea and
leads to a forest of cedar and juniper trees and then to Agios Georgios beach.
Halikounas beach has soft sand dunes, safe shallow swimming, no beachfront
building and few visitors. Agios Georgios beach offers tavernas, bars,
watersports and more visitors. The lake is bordered by hillsides of olive
groves, citrus orchards and vineyards and looks up to the monastery on top of
Mount Agios Mattheos. This area of Corfu is agricultural and peaceful.
Set
