5* (Deluxe class/category) hotels on Santorini island

Zannos Melathron (melathron means mansion in Greek) was built in the 19th century by Michael Zannos, a master of the time. Along with an adjoining renaissance architecture villa built in 1750, the two buildings comprise a brand new deluxe hotel. Both buildings have been proclaimed preserved cultural and architectural monuments by the Greek State. Their restoration has been supervised by the ministry of culture and the artistic coordination of Mr. Giannis Tseklenis. The hotel is situated on Pyrgos, the highest location on the island, at the entrance of the medieval castle of Kastelli, enjoying an unobstructed view of the entire island and the Caldera at the distance. Double suites for 1-2 persons (Nicholaos, Floria, Michael and Eroulia):
Entering the suites there is a spacious living room and a fully equipped kitchenette. Connected are the bedroom and its bathroom with bathtub (except for 1 unit that has a shower)
Senior suites for up to 3 persons (Constas and Theodosia):
The suites consist of five different areas. One bedroom with an adjoining bathroom with bathtub, a fully equipped kitchenette, a spacious living room where a third person can be accommodated and finally the hall area right at the entrance of the suites.
Superior suites for up to 4 persons (Rolandos and Anna):
The two family suites that can accommodate up to four people consist of the following areas: Two double bedrooms with two spacious bathrooms with bathtubs, one living room and a separate fully equipped kitchenette.
Master suite for up to 6 persons (Vidianos):
The apartment, situated privately in its own yard, can accommodate up to six persons.

Connected to this, there is a double room with its own shower and toilet. Another double room with bathroom and a fully equipped kitchenette is situated next to the main apartment with a separate entrance.
