Villa
Marandi welcomed its first guests in the summer of 1998.
It is ideally situated by the sea, and only a stone's throw from Hora (the Town)
and the best beaches of Naxos. The studios, apartments and suites are named
after mythological characters and elements of the sea and the wind. All studios,
suites and apartments are fully furnished with a very personal touch. They are
spacious and have large private verandas decorated with pergolas, traditional
stonewalls and unique views of the Aegean Sea, the Port and Hora. The hotel
offers a swimming pool with pool bar, Children's Pool, Hydro-massage in the main
pool, A la carte Restaurant, Snack Bar - Pool Bar as well as a reception area
and private parking.
All
units have private facilities with hair dryer,
air-condition and heating, colour satellite TV, direct dial phone and last but
not least a fully equipped kitchenette. The superior Studios (about 40 sq.
meters) can accommodate up to 4 adults or a family of 2 adults with 2 children
and offer in one spacious room 2 single beds plus a sofa bed for the additional
1-2 persons. The Family Suite (about 54 sq. meters) can accommodate 4-6 persons
and offers all the above plus an additional separate bedroom. The Junior Suites
can accommodate 2-3 adult persons or a family comprised of 2 adults plus up to 2
young children, in one spacious room, offering a hand-made iron antique double
bed and two sofa beds. The decoration is very romantic, tasteful and of high
quality. The superior suites (about 40 sq.m.), offer accommodation for 2-4
persons, with a completely separated bedroom, with an iron hand made double bed
and a multipurpose room that can accommodate two additional persons on sofa
beds. The suites are all on the top floor and have large private verandas.
A
very beautiful, new complex of 45 apartments situated in an elevated position in
the area of Stelida approx. 3km from the centre of Naxos town,
successfully combining the simple Cycladic village-like architecture with
touches of luxury. The nearest beach is Choelakas about 150 meters down the hill
and the best beach of the island, Aghios Prokopios, is approx. 1.5km away. The
complex affords panoramic view over the town of Naxos and the port. Hotel’s
facilities include a medium size swimming pool with a beautiful mosaic
representation at the bottom of the pool, pool bar, BBQ for the use of the
guests, reception area, safe boxes, room service, restaurant, mini market,
tennis court, and play ground for children. It consists of different 2-storey
buildings connected by paved alleys, stairs, stone arches, and flowerbeds; it
really gives you the impression of a small village.
The
rooms have wooden ceilings and traditional wooden doors (in fact the keys are
the big, iron, old-fashioned ones). There are 26 open plan studios for up to
three persons and 19 apartments, which consist of one double or twin bedded
room, separate small living room area with kitchenette unit (stylish utensils
supplied) and a sofa, SH/WC, hair dryer, A/C, TV, direct dial phone, and most of
them have balcony with sea view. Most can take 3 persons and some 4, as long as
the two are children. Two studios and one apartment are especially kept for
honeymooners and have double beds. Baby cots are available (payable on the
spot). Children under 2 years old are free, between 2 and 12 pay as third adult
discount. Safe deposit boxes are available for a fee payable locally. Extended
continental breakfast is offered. One of the best, if not the best complex on
the island. 
A
very beautiful establishment on the top of the hill with panoramic view over the
best beach of Naxos, Aghios Prokopios (approx. 800 m away), about 4klm away from
Naxos town.
The nearest bus stop is approx. 500m away, and the resort centre with all
services is less than 500m. A complex built in different levels, in the
village-like Cycladic architectural style, with paved alleys, patios, yards,
stone arches. At the front it has a rather small swimming pool. The open plan
reception area (safe deposit boxes available at extra charge), also includes the
(satellite) TV lounge, bar, and the breakfast area. It has spacious, comfortable
studios furnished in pine, able to accommodate up to 4 persons, the facilities
of which include, private SH/WC, music, colour TV (on request), direct-dial
phone, open plan kitchenette, refrigerator and a balcony or a patio. There are
also two rooms at the ground floor designed for guests with kinetic
disabilities. Baby cots are available. Children have no discount. Safe deposit
boxes are available for a fee payable locally. It is a beautiful, simple
property in a quiet area.
A
beautifully simple hotel of Cycladic architecture, on the beach of Aghia Anna.
It consists of 28 spacious studios (for up to 4 persons)
and 2-room apartments (bedroom and separate kitchen with folding sofa for 2
persons), i.e. up to 5 persons can be accommodated. The rooms are simply but
tastefully decorated, all having private facilities, kitchenette, refrigerator,
direct-dial phone and balcony or veranda with view to the sea. The hotel has a
small lobby/reception area, and one has access to the different 2-storey
buildings by the small rear courtyard, full of flowers and trees, paved with
traditional stones and marble. The charming restaurant of the hotel is situated
just in front of it, by the sea. In general, Iria Beach is a cosy, friendly
hotel, ideal for guests seeking holidays by the beach in simple and elegant
self-catering accommodation.
A
well run complex in the very popular area of Aghios Prokopios, approx. 150m to
the beach and resort centre with all services, 6klm to Naxos town, connected
with a frequent bus service.
To
the front there is a pretty, spacious garden, next to which there is a big
swimming pool, and the small reception with an outdoors breakfast area covered
with a pergola. The complex consists of 8 spacious studios for up to three
adults or two adults and two - at most - children, who will sleep on a rather
large sofa bed, and of 8 apartments: 1 bedroom and the kitchen/living room with
a sofa bed; some of the apartments, apart for the fully equipped kitchenette and
refrigerator, also have an oven. There is also an apartment having the kitchen
(sofa bed, cooking facilities with oven) on the ground floor and a double bed on
a loft, accessible by a wooden staircase; this apartment is reserved for
honeymooners, but is also suitable for families. All rooms have direct-dial
phone, private SH/WC, balcony or patio. There are also a few rooms, which are
rather easily accessible for guests with kinetic disabilities.
